Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Melissa graduated from Evangel Christian Academy in 2000.
Melissa joined the firm in 2008 to work alongside her mother Elizabeth Lucero--"Liz" passed away in June 2022. Melissa intends to carry on her legacy for years to come!.
Melissa currently holds her series 6 and 63 licenses. Melissa’s goal is to help clients not only achieve their personal savings/retirement goals but also educate and empower clients and help them understand there is no wrong time to start saving for what matters most. Be it saving for retirement, bucket lists, or college savings 529 plans Melissa believes there is no time too short or amount too small. If you believe it, you can achieve it! Melissa takes great pride in developing close relationships with her clients.

On the weekend, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys - either at home or at the basketball court cheering them on. She currently is team mom for her husband and youngest son’s basketball team, as well as the Del Norte HS boys basketball program.
